A very good, sturdy hard cover first edition with light shelf wear, hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed, with a previous owner's bookplate on the front end paper, several small paint stains along bottom edge (does not affect paper), light foxing to the fore-edges. Without dust jacket.

Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Pen inscription to front flap. Spine is heavily tanned.

Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Some minor tanning, creasing and scuffing overall with mild loss and creasing to panels.
