Octavo grey printed wrappers 99pp. Pencil annotations and marginal lines throughout but a neat tight copy, pagination excellent, very little foxing. Early geological studies by Smith here augmented by the recent discoveries of his diaries and letters newly unearthed at the Oxford University Museum have here been able to supplement the earlier biographies of John Phillips and Mr.T Sheppard.
