Cloth seems to have been lacquer coated. Some darkening to edges of endpapers, neat inscription to front “T.M. King.” Some occasional handling marks and foxing spots. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 170pp. Illustrated with 33 double-page coloured maps, each with smaller inset B&W photograph scenes (100). Folding B&W key map, and separate page of illustrations of Shakespeare’s Birthplace &c. Photo frontis. H.W. Taunt, photographer to the Oxford Architectural and Historical Society.
