A very clean and tight copy. Signed by the author and John Sykes who wrote the postscript "The Big Bang Theory" to a plate on the front free endpaper, limit number 33 of 50. 363pp. With 16 colour & over 100 b/w plates, and drawings. Published to celebrate the sixtieth year of publication of the New Naturalist series, this second edition describes the authors and their work, and the process of producing the Library. With biographical and bibliographical details and a collectors guide. A "must" for collectors of this series.
