London: Bellairs & Co, 1896. Hardcover. Very Good -. vi, [2], 218, 2 p.; 20 cm. Green cloth with gilt spine title and red cover title. Color illustrations on spine and front cover. Final 2 pages contain advertisement for Sporting Stories and Sketches by the same author. Henry George Harper was the English author of several books about horse-racing and hunting, which he published under the pseudonym "G. G." This book contains stories about horse racing, gambling, and baccarat. -In Very Good Condition: ends of spine and corners rubbed; head of spine starting to fray; cover lightly soiled; slightly cocked; back free endpaper creased and lacking upper corner; pages are clean and tight.
