Heavy tanning to text block edges. Cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Moderate tanning and marking to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and heavy crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed and sunned.
Synopsis
New Worlds for Old is an anthology of fantasy short stories, edited by Lin Carter. It was first published in paperback by Ballantine Books in September 1971 as the thirty-fifth volume of its celebrated Ballantine Adult Fantasy series. It was the fourth such anthology assembled by Carter for the series. The book collects fifteen fantasy tales and poems by various authors, with an overall introduction and notes by Carter.
