Leipzig: Bernhard Tauchnitz, 1908. Undetermined. very good. tauchnitz printing. 303, + 32 pg adspp. 12mo. Beige wrappers with black lettering and elegant border decoration. Wrappers show some soiling, darkening and creasing to spine and chipping to ends. A subtle dusting of foxing through out, else the text block is clean and bright. Top edge trimmed roughly with other edges uncut. Inscription from previous owner on title page. Slight browning to edges. very good Collection of British Authors. Tauchnitz edition. Vol 4048. A nice, unsophisticated copy. 1908
Synopsis
New Worlds for Old is an anthology of fantasy short stories, edited by Lin Carter. It was first published in paperback by Ballantine Books in September 1971 as the thirty-fifth volume of its celebrated Ballantine Adult Fantasy series. It was the fourth such anthology assembled by Carter for the series. The book collects fifteen fantasy tales and poems by various authors, with an overall introduction and notes by Carter.
