New York in the American Revolution by ABBOTT, Wilbur C - 1929

Book is in Very Good condition, with light edgewear to cover, some age yellowing to pages, some discoloration on title page, photo page prior to title page, and page prior to that, presumably due to a component in the photo page. Dust jacket is in Good condition, with some sun fading on spine, some edgewear and chipping along edges of spine, small open and closed tears along jacket edges.

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1929. First Edition. Very near fine in dark blue cloth covered boards with a white paper label on the spine and illustrated end papers. An octavo of 8 7/8 by 5 7/8 inches with the cloth at the head and heel of the spine crimped inward and with mild bumping to the fore corners of the front board. In a very good, unclipped dust jacket with 1/4 inch chipping at the ends of the spine area and a 1/4 inch deep chip at the upper edge of the front panel and shallow chipping to the upper edge of the rear panel. The spine area is tanned. 302 pages including an index, bibliography, text and illustrated from reproductions of contemporary works of art. The author traces the history of New York City during the American Revolution.
