Newspaper 16 x 11 inches; pp 259-304; folded Thomas Nast wood engraving at center unfolding to 23 x 32 inches depicting Lincoln's outdoor Inauguration with, behind the proceedings, the capitol building pictured under construction (text on verso). Short tears to free edge of front cover and interior pages. Two tape repairs (of uncertain vintage but clearly not recent) at margins of the unfolded center wood engraving. Needless to say, an uncommon item of considerable historical value with condition issues noted. .
