About This Item
Harcourt, Brace & World, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. NEAR FINE/Fine. 116 pp. 90 B/W gravures and 22 Color full page photographs. 4to, blue cloth, gilt spine lettering. Armorial bookplate with name 'William Matthews Hilton,' spine leaning just a bit, front fore tail corner barely nudges, otherwise very clean and sharp. Some tape residue to cloth from the contemporary mylar cover into which this very nearly pristine dust jacket appears to have been placed immediately upon purchase. Now in fresh mylar, we don't expect to see a nicer copy. "'If Paris suggests Intelligence, if London suggests Experience, then the word for New York is Activity.'.
