About This Item
Lewisburg, PA: Appletree Alley, 1992. Plotkin, Linda. Octavo. 45, (3)pp. One of 150 copies, signed by the illustrator, Linda Plotkin, at the colophon. Four of Plotkin's illustrations punctuate Valentine's poetry. Composed of highly saturated colors abstractly cast over dark backgrounds, the images reflect and enhance the surges of anxiety, love, and nostaglia that characterize much of Valentine's verses. Bound in blue-gray paper over boards, backed in navy cloth with glit spine titling. Fine.
