About This Item

London: Hamlyn, 1988. Later Edition. Hardcover. Near fine. Hardcover, illustrated by Shirley Willis. Signed by Willis as well as her husband David Salaryia, also a well known illustrator. I'm not completely sure what connection he had with this publication except for his relationship to Ms. Willis. They probably attended an event together and a collector asked for both signatures. A lightly used near fine copy in pictorial glossy covers. No dust jacket.

Synopsis

The Night the Toys Came to Life : A Christmas Story tells about how on Christmas Eve, Sarah and Jack left Teddy out of the toy cupboard. After they went to bed, Teddy let all the other toys out, for a night of fun and holiday frolic.
