Near Fine with light soiling to cloth, light wear to spine ends, pages tanned. In a Near Fine price-clipped dust jacket with light soiling and light edge wear, slight fading to spine and a light stain to the blindside at the foot of the spine panel. A collection of Fuller's thoughts and essays, in which the title refers to the observation that, when the book was written, the world population of humans, if stood one atop another, could form chains that would reach back and forth between Earth and the Moon nine times.
