Top edges gilt, foredge untrimmed. The wonderful scene on the decorative cloth binding wraps around from the front board to the spine and rear board. The scene depicts on the front board a Cadet standing in a wooded area aiming his rifle in the woods and continue to a view of his pack and bedroll on the rear cover. Two Stories in one volume: Noble Blood was translated from the German by Charles King & Anne Williston Ward, and A West Point Parallel was written by Charles King. ; Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings. .

At The Antiquarian Book Shop, located in Georgetown - an historic neighborhood of Washington, D.C. we have been buying, selling & appraising rare, interesting and scholarly books in Georgetown for more than 30 years.
