About This Item
New York: Harper & Row, 1983. CAVEAT EMPTOR (read carefully, this is weird): oversized Harper & Row hardcover First Edition with their ISBN 0060152168 in the Canadian Collins unpriced dust jacket with their ISBN 000217118X; I have listed this book with the Collins ISBN as the Stock Image corresponds to my DJ, 189 pages including black-and-white drawings and full colour plates for 52 species;---now for more strangeness, the Harper & Row text block has been removed from the original sturdy cloth covers and neatly, probably professionally, rebound by tape and glueing into cheap thick cardboard;---the result shows only very light traces of shelf wear, very gently used, very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white; DJ rubbed all over except for the flaps, several very tiny chips and tears, one small chip to back top. [this copy priced low, priced to go to a good home as bookseller is nearing retirement, but extra S & H at cost will be requested for orders outside of Canada] . Hard Cover. Very Good -/Very Good -.
