About This Item
London: Chatto & Windus, 1930 . Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8" by 5". None. The scarce first Services Library edition of Rosamund Lehmann's second novel in the original dust wrapper. Early edition of A Note in Music by Rosamond Lehmann in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Published the same year as the first edition, this is a scarce Services Library edition, published alongside many other titles. English novelist Rosamond Lehmann's second novel, which was published to less acclaim than her first novel Dusty Answer, which was a 'succes de scandale' and brought her praise among the literary world. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some spotting to the fore edge. To the dust wrapper, there is some wear to the extremities including some small tears, creases, and age toning. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and generally clean with the odd spot throughout and light spotting to the first few pages and endpapers. Very Good
