(Originally published, 1947) Large, heavy book, dark blue cloth, gilt design with blue initials of James on front very fine, gilt lettering very good on spine, crease at bottom front tip, foxed and lightly soiled inside covers and adjacent end papers--treated, 425 lightly browned pages. Edited by F.O. Matthiessen and Kenneth B. Murdock. DJ heavy paper, facsimile of notebook page on front, books advertised on back. DJ is worn and slightly soiled overall. DJ and book, both Near Good.
