UK: Ministry of Defence, 1975. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Ring binder, with printed titles and motif. xiv, c. 500pp, with numerous appendices and fold out charts and illustrations. Illustrated throughout mostly in black and white but some colour illustrations. The binding has some surface wear and a couple of small but obvious markings, small break in plastic on lower edge). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring the first leaf which has a little spotting and mild marks. Restricted at the time of issue. Army Code No. 71031. A fascinating and comprehensive review of the information on Soviet ground forces available to the British Army in the mid 1970s. Sections on, for example, Military Doctrine; Soviet Equipment; Command and Control; Firepower; Warfare Under Special Conditions; Service Support; The Soviet Soldier; The Political Structure of the Soviet Army and Navy etc.
