Looks Unused. 6 works in 5 Volumes and All Uniformly bound in full pale blue leather. 5 Raised bands, lettered in gilt on a white/cream block. Ornate Gilt tooling to compartments and to the front cover. Identical decorative gilt to each volume. All page edges gilt, with blue watered silk endpapers. Bindings have a few TINY abrasion marks to the white/cream blocks, but only seen if you look closely for them! All bindings are very tight, very clean, and seem unused with NO Inscriptions or marks. Each volume includes a pale blue ribbon bookmark. Internally FINE throughout. In the clear cellphane loose wrappers they came in - unsure if these were original or put on to protect them by the former owner. ** Most 'normal' Heron volumes are faux leather - but an advert leaf (not with this set but seen elsewhere) describes the set as - " These fine, beautiful, powder blue volumes have been created as a tribute to Jane Austen. Bound in REAL Lambskin, these books are ornately embellished with 23ct gold on spines, covers, and all page edges". A delightful tribute set. They also have an Introduction to each volume by experts like G. B Stern and R. Brimley Johnson, and b/w illustrations to each by various artists.
