New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1896. 8 Volume set. COMPLETE. Author's Edition, 1896. Green cloth hard cover volumes with gilt lettering on front cover and brown spine with gilt lettering. Each volume contains a frontispiece illustration with the original protective tissue. Additional illustrations with cover tissue throughout. Pages have top edge gilt. All volumes in Very Good Condition. 6 x 8" Tall. VOLUME I contains a picture of Barrie and his works: Auld Licht Idylls and Better Dead. The book labelled internally VOLUME II contains When A Man's Single. The book labelled VOLUME III internally (no volume number on spine) contains A Window in Thrums and An Edinburgh Eleven. The book labelled VOLUME IV internally (volume I on the spine) is Part I of The Little Minister, with pages numbered 1 to 240. The book labelled VOLUME V internally (volume II on the spine) contains The Little Minister, Part II, with page numbers 241 to 510. The book labelled VOLUME VI internally (volume I onthe spine) contains Sentimental Tommy Part I, with pages 1 to 258. The book labelled VOLUME VII internally (volume II on the spine) is Part II of Sentimental Tommy, with pages 261 to 504. The book labeled VOLUME VIII internally contains My Lady Nicotine and Margaret Ogilvy. Very light foxing to prelim and endmatter. Previous owner's bookplate behind front boards.
