Now We Are Six

by A. A. Milne

Condition: Fine/Fine

Published by Methuen & co. London in 1927. This is a Fine example of this classic children's first edition. Tightly bound in it's original dark red boards with gold gilt detailing. There is virtually no bumping to the corners and spine ends, and the boards are clean and bright with just a small mark to the rear board. Inside, there is an ownership bookplate affixed to the salmon pink front free endpaper and a pencil annotation to the top of the page. The pages are clean and bright and free from signs of ageing or damage, being in excellent condition.
The dust jacket is also in Fine condition. There is only the slightest hint of bumping to the edges and very slight rubbing to the panels and spine. The jacket retains much of it's original colour and is in excellent.
In all, this is a beautiful copy of this popular children's first edition from A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh tetrology and is one of the nicest copies we have seen. It is highly collectible and will be the perfect addition to any collection.

More entertaining verses and delightful pictures in the style of When We Were Very Young . "Gay verses about all manner of things, which with their original rhythm dance their way into memory."-- Four to Fourteen, 1927
