New York, NY: W.A. Benjamin, Inc, 1964. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Blue cloth over boards, title stamped in gilt onto spine, 8vo (9 inches [22.9 cm] tall), pp. x, 250, index, errata, illustrated with charts, tables and diagrams throughout. Volume with three small water stains to cloth of upper board, text unmarked. Unclipped DJ with soil and stains - mostly to front panel. A series of 30 lectures published due to "... the author's concern with the lack of contact between theorist and experimenter." (from rear flap) while Lane was the Senior Principle Scientist at Harwell, England.
