Printed on thick laid paper, lightly waterstained, mostly in upper outer corner and last leaves (index). HARDCOVER, bound in handsome modern full vellum, new endpapers, gilt lettering to spine. A wide-margined copy, untrimmed. In good condition. ~ Volume I of 3. Lipsius p. 409. Brunet V, p. 1027: "Ouvrage très-estimé, ainsi que presque tous ceux du même auteur". Cf. Cicognara 3032-3034.
