The first edition of this work regarding the city of Nuremberg , beautifully captured with numerous water-colours. The first edition of this work, providing a tour of the city of Nuremberg in Germany, described by Arthur G. Bell's wife and illustrated with twenty beautiful water-colours by Arthur G. Bell. Collated, complete. With historical notes on the development of the city from the thirteenth to the twentieth century, and observations on its burgs, convents, connections, and churches. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with some shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The cloth to the spine has slightly darkened, the boards only slightly warped. With a minor bumping to the head of the spine, minor soiling to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. With a tide-mark affecting the lower gutter and the upper right margin of the text block, affecting particularly the leaves of plates due to he type of paper used, otherwise only slightly cockling the leaves. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with twenty beautiful water-colours by Arthur G. Bell. Collated, complete. Very Good
