A complete full pack of 52 playing cards. Each card is on thick board with a different engraved design of a nursery rhyme or story around the coloured pips, the court cards have gold and coloured highlights. The Ace of spades is printed "When used in great Britain and Ireland Duty Three Pence" Printed for the designer by Maclure, Macdonald & Macgregor, 77 Market St Manchester. Rare in such fine condition.
