Simon & Schuster, New York, 1950. P" (17th) Printing. Hardcover. Good+ Condition. Illustrator: Malvern, Corinne (Illus.). Book Early printing of #7 in the Little Golden Books. The design of the rear cover is Santi's Style #2.12 â The Little Golden Library with blurb at the bottom and numbered list to #D11. Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). 42 pages. Item Type: Book. The text block is tight, bring and unmarked. There are a couple of brown spots on the outside edge of the title page. Bound with a Golden Paper spine with animals in a vine and paper-covered cardboard. There is about 1/2" of loss at the foot of the spine. There are a couple of bumps along the bottom edge of the front cover and the upper corner has a diagonal crease. The rear cover has a couple of names and a scribble in black ink affecting the left section of the list of books. A child's first name is written in pink crayon on the inside front cover.
