Edinburgh: Archibald Constable & Co., 1804. First edition. 3/4 leather. Very Good. 21 x 13.5 cm. Octavo. v (1) 342 (16) pages. Bound in 3/4 brown leather with marble boards. Previous owner's bookplate on front fixed endpaper. Complete with 10 engraved plates, 2 of which are folding. Rubbing to the boards especially to the front cover where a small portion of the marble has completely been worn away to the boards beneath. Author's first book.
