London, UK: Phaidon, 1980. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. First edition, first impression. 112pp, with glorious full colour illustrations throughout (110 illustrations of which 39 in colour). Signed by Peter Scott on the first leaf. In brown cloth covered boards with gilt titles. Tall, slim 4to. Small area of mild white marking on cloth boards. Page 109/10 has a tape repair across a tear, else neat, clean and bright throughout. In its original dust jacket (price clipped and very slightly bumped along extreme upper edge, small chip at head of spine). The paintings and drawings in this volume span the 40 year career of renown wildlife artist, Sir Peter Scott.
