Reminiscences of working the Inman Line's emigrant route from Liverpool to New York by the author of 'All about Ships' and the 'Life and Duties of a Sailor'. Evidently the only edition of this scarce account; Copac records only BL & John Rylands copies.

Volumes I-IV, VII, VIII (6 volumes of an eventual 8), reprinting the papers presented to the Bucks County Historical Society. Uniformly bound in red cloth, spine panels lettered in gilt. All volumes show minor soiling to cloth and slight rubbing to extremities, with text block edges typically a bit tanned by age. Vol. VIII is minimally ex-library, with call label on lower spine, F&M College (Gift of B. F. Fackenthal, Jr.) book plate mounted inside front cover. Firm bindings, clean interiors.
