1850 Odd Fellows on Witchcraft Salem Witches Diabolism Masons Freemason Rituals

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows is one of the largest and oldest fraternal organization in the US. Originally founded in England in the 18th century, American Odd Fellowship can trace its origins to Baltimore, 1819. This book is a compilation of stories, poetry, and essays by members of the organization including the editors of the work James Ridgely and Paschal Donaldson. Topics range from the Philanthropic Spirit of the Age to Diabolism and Witchcraft.

During the first half of the 17th-century, Elzevier published numerous works on European countries designed for travel and studies (Respublica). Smith, a 16th-century English diplomat, was the Secretary of State under King Edward VI of England. He also served under Elizabeth I, and was one of her most trusted Protestant advisors.
