London: Medici Society, 1924. Hardcover. Near fine. Number 438 of a limited edition of 530 copies, of which 500 were offered for sale. Bound in original white cloth with beveled edges, with leather spine labels, top edge gilt, deckled edges. 11.25" x 9", pp xxviii, 315, with 20 tipped-in color collotype plates (after watercolors by Flint) with captioned tissued guards. Corners lightly bumped, some rubbing to lower spine lable, very mild dust soiling and rubbing to boards; internals fine. A sumptuous volume, praised in the Times Literary Supplement as "a delight to the eye." Oversized; additional shipping charges will apply for priority or international orders.
