Brown cloth, 12mo, 128 pp. Correspondence for the year 1858 between Josua Schultz (1808-1892) Minister of the Schwenkfelder Church, and Daniel Weiser (1795-1875) of the Reformed Church. The Schwenkfelders were a Protestant sect that developed during the Reformation, following the teachings of Caspar Schwenkfeld von Ossig (1489-1561). Facing persecution in Saxony, between 1731 and 1737, they settled in the area around Philadelphia. No marks in book, binding tight. Foxing to endpapers. Covers show some wear with corners bumped. Uncommon title, OCLC locates 4 copies. Book condition VG-. Text in German.
