Paris: De L'Imprimeri et De La Fonderie Stereotypes De Pierre Didot L'Aine, et De Firmin Didot, 1799 274, 276, 288, 262, 275, 264, 303, 270 pages in each volume. Faded gold lettering on the spines. Corners are bumped with minor scuffing on some of them. Tails on the spines of three volumes are worn, to showing the headbands, most of the leather on the top of the spines is worn to showing headbands. Volume four and five have had something spill on the top fore edges leaving brown stain marks - no smell. A very good copy of this small uncommon complete set of Moliere's works. Text is in French.

[part 7 of a larger set--complete unto itself] single vol. 24mo, 5 1/2" tall, 283 pages; marbled endpapers, leather-bound, gilt fore-edges, and decorations; good minus, generally clean, hardcover overall, but all covers are edge worn and back strip missing; hinges cracked, internally very good, binding solid, laid paper clean and lightly yellowed with minor scattered foxing.

In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. Small 8vo, bound in brown marbled boards. Volume 5, front board and ffp are detached but present, backstrip is missing. Volume 3, front and back boards are partly attached, backstrip is missing. Volume 1, front board is detached but present, backstrip is missing, pages 243-262 are partly loose. Covers are rubbed, pages are brown with age. There is some slight foxing on the pages. Volume three contains La Critique de L'Ecole de Femmes and other plays. Volume five contains Le Tartuffe and other plays. Volume seven contains Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme and other plays. Volume eight contains Les Femmes Savantes and other plays. Dated from Jisc. In full calf. Externally, a little worn with rubbing to the spines and boards and joints. Some splitting to the joints of vol 1 and viii. With a sticker to the front board of vol. i. Previous owner inscription to the half title page of vol. i, v vii and viii. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Good
