New York: Harper & Brothers, 1910. First edition. Set in Ireland during the reign of William of Orange and dealing with the attempt of James II to retake his throne. Based on McCarthy's 1910 play of the same name. Frontis photograph Herbert Tree and Evelyn D'Alroy (The O'Flynn and Lady Benedetta) from the stage production. Basis also for the 1949 movie "The Fighting O'Flynn" starring Douglas Fairbanks and Helena Carter. Green cloth boards lettered in black and blind-stamped with shamrock motif on front and spine; blind-stamped crossed swords emblem on front. About very good with cloth a bit rumpled and edges rubbed. Lacking the rare dust jacket. Scarce.
