Walter Sullivan (1924-2006) was an author, critic, longtime Vanderbilt University professor, authority on Southern literature and -- along with Taylor -- one of the founding members of The Fellowship of Southern Writers. His wife, Jane Harrison Sullivan (1923-2022), taught English literature at Aquinas College. 8vo gilt-stamped gray simulated-cloth paper boards; 358 pages. Fine in fine dust jacket with just a touch of minor wear. Uncommon signed in the UK edition.
