Great book for fans of naval engagements during World War !!. Story of Battleship "X", which was the U.S.S. South Dakota (BB-57). She had a proud history and saw much action throughout the war in the Pacific Theatre against Japanese naval surface and air power. Se won 13 Battle Stars for her actions in the Pacific from 1942-1945.
