Philadelphia: L. R. Hamersly & Co.. Blue cloth with gold lettering. Rubbed at the corners and the spine tips. Line rub on the left corner of the front cover. Strong binding. 4 pages have a small amount of pencil underlining which can be easily erased. Some notations on the front pastedown as well. We did not erase them as this copy was the Secretary of the Navy's (Richard W. Thompson at the time) per inscription on the flyleaf, "For the Secretary of the Navy with compliments of the writer Washington __ 1880". . Good. Hardcover. 1880.
