Bound in cornflower blue publisher's cloth with gilt vignette to upper board and gilt titles to spine, with pictorial cat endpapers. With the unclipped original pale blue illustrated dust-jacket. A Near Fine copy in an unclipped Near Fine dust-jacket. Eliot's much loved cat poems newly imagined with super colour illustrations by the acclaimed children's illustrator, Axel Scheffler, best known for illustrating the Gruffalo and Zog series. With Scheffler's signature and his original humorous cat sketch dated "Edinburgh 27/8/2016" to foot of title-page.
