New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1905. First edition, as stated. Hardcover. Good/No jacket. Two volume set, 348 pages with index in Volume I and 428 pages plus appendix index and fold out genealogy and map in Volume II, both illustrated with black and white plates. A history and travelogue of Provence. Blue coth binding with gilt shield design on front covers and gilt titles on spine. Spines faded, some edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped and frayed, heavy spotting of covers, especially at top edges, interior pages tanned, binding appears to be tight although some plates appear to be fragile, tear at bottom of fold out.
