[OLEG TSELKOV EXHIBITION POSTER Russia modern artist undated/est. 1980-2000] OLEG TSELKOV ART POSTER, 27" high x 18" across overall, narrow/about 1" white border on three sides, in bottom wide margin/about 6" about 1" high block capital letters OLEG TSELKOV, undated, unidentified but in all probability an art exhibition poster, in margin at upper right corner at edge of poster "S. A. N. – Torino" in small letters (no information found on this printer), poster generally dark green with a pair of distinctive, characteristic Tselkov faces in lighter shade about in the middle of the surrounding dark green; NOTES: OLEG NOKOLAYEVICH TSELKOV, 1934-2021, Russian nonconformist artist whose first solo exhibition in Moscow in 1966 was closed down after two days by the KGB for being "ideologically unacceptable"…known for his images of faces painted in bright color revealing inner psychological torment…in 1977 moved to France (wikipedia); CONDITION: well-preserved, about near fine, some light short creases and light surface abrasions visible when under certain light and angle, but otherwise barely noticeable…poster will be shipped rolled in a USPS mailer insured to any US address.
