Though Oliver Cromwell is probably Huntingdon's most famous son very little is known of his private life before 1640. The first edition of this book was published in 1973. That edition is now out of print and Mrs. Dickinson, the widow of Mr. Dickinson, has kindly agreed that a new, slightly revised, edition should be published by the Management Committee of the Cromwell Museum. The illustrations of Dr. Beard and the baptismal entry are reproduced from blocks kindly lent by the County Press (Huntingdon). Revised Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 23 + 21 pages.
