Initial blank with presentation from Debré (see below), original double-page monochrome lithograph as frontispiece, signed by the artist in pencil, leaf with title, two leaves with Ponge's text dated 'Janvier 1963', final leaf with justification recto. Presentation copy of a scarce publication which accompanied Olivier Debré's exhibition at Galerie Knoedler in February 1963.From the edition limited to 33 numbered copies, each with Debré's signed original lithograph and signed by Ponge and Debré to the justification in pencil; Debré's presentation is in black ink to the initial blank: 'A Louis Barnier / en souvenir reconnaissant / et l'amitié / d'Olivier Debré / Fev 63'.Olivier Debré (1920-1999) became involved in the language of abstraction in the 1940s, following a visit to Picasso's studio. He formed a new generation of School of Paris painters with artists such as Pierre Soulages, Nicolas de Stael and Maria Helena Vieira da Silva. Louis Barnier was a member of the College of Pataphysics and director of L'Imprimerie Union from 1957.
