Sherman Oaks, CA: Joe D'Ambrosio, 1992. Limited edition. Hardcover. Near fine. 8vo box binding with blue-gray cloth spine, printed title label, floral cloth boards. The spine is constructed of stepped planes. The text consists of individual pages as well as recessed leaves, including the title page, which also incorporates stretched open weave cloth suggesting net stockings. Designed and produced by D'Ambrosio . Printed on handmade 'Misty Rose" paper with a Vandercook No. 4 proof press in Van Son's brick dust and slate gray inks. A fine copy of a skillfully designed artist book.
One of 75 copies and 10 artist proofs; this is number 8. A short story about two Parisian prostitutes originally written in the 19th century.
