VG++/VG+. 1st Edition, 1st Printing. 13 x 20.2 cm blue cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine [viii] 677 [3]pp with original unclipped jacket priced at 25s net. The boards have been well protected by the dust jacket and are clean and bright with just a hint of shelf-wear and a tiny ding to the foot of the rear board. Internally without name, inscription or bookplate and with just a little spotting to the edge of the text block and the free endpapers. There is also a strip of toning to the endpapers where the dust jacket doesn't meet. The dust jacket has toning to the spine and to a lesser extent on the rear panel. There is just a touch of shelf-wear to the top and bottom edges and a little light creasing to the top edge. All in all a great copy of this Arthurian tale.
