(New York): New Directions, (1948). First Edition. Hardcover. Very mild darkening to the spine. Near Fine, lacking the slipcase. Parchment-backed decorated boards. Crandell A8.I.b. Copy #12 of only 50 numbered copies SIGNED by the author on the limitation page. This copy belonged to Frederic Dannay, half of the writing team that was mystery writer Ellery Queen, and though it has no ownership markings it comes with a signed statement of provenance from Dannay's son.
