About This Item
Macmillan of Canada, 1975. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Signed by former Prime Minister Diefenbaker on House of Commons notecard taped opposite title page, with typed note to Verna Sturrock. Also inscribed on title page by Sean O'Sullivan, M.P. (at that time the youngest M.P. in Canadian history, best remembered for his bill to make the beaver Canada's animal symbol). Diefenbaker and O'Sullivan were close political associates. O'Sullivan later left politics for the priesthood. Very good first edition in jacket (jacket has minor wear).
