Paris: Charles Carrington, 1899. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Lebegue. Hardcover/ no DJ; Good to possibly VG condition. VOL. 2 ONLY, paged 257- 532. No date, except Paris 1899"" on spine of binding. B/W frontis w/ intact tissue protector & b/w text plates by ""Lebegue""; Top edge of text block gilt, side & bottom edges rough-cut; color floral cloth front cover w/ tan pebble grain leather (?) corners, spine & back cover; gilt spine lettering; marbled endpapers; sewn text block; 9"" x 5.75"". Binding clean & square w/ light edge wear & a bit of spine darkening (pretty minor). Spine lettering intact & totally legible. NO bumps, scuffs or fray. Endpapers clean & unmarked. Scattered tears/ chips to margins of text, where pages were separated- not many & not severe. Text block pulled away from edge of spine, about 1"" deep (on the vertical) at endpapers, but NO hinge splits to endpapers (text & endpapers still firmly attached to each other)- good quality e/p stock. Text bright, clean & unmarked w/ little to no toning. NOT ex library. A handsome copy.
