Boston: Hale, Cushman & Flint, 1937. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 6 1/4 X 8 3/4 Inches. 500 PP. Stated "First Printing, September 1937" on the copyright page. Original price of $3.00 intact on front flap. Original boards clean and sharp. No previous owner plates, writing etc... DJ a bit worn at edges and folds. A few short closed tears and some rubbing. A very attractive copy of this scarce biography of Booth and his family of actors. The most famous and important book in the "Booth Escaped" Garrett Farm and later moved off to Texas theory.
