Book Interior GOOD PLUS / Covers Good Plus. Covers are orange/white, lettering black, Penguin bracketed by green leaves and 1000 bracketed by green leaves on front, black/white photo back. Spine has a very slight dip in the middle, is a bit age darkened and soiled, has some dots of colour chipped off side edges, has a small chip at top of spine, has a 5/8 inch rip at bottom of spine. Covers are flat, no rips, two bent corners one of which has three creases, front cover white is a bit age darkened and a bit soiled and the rest of cover has faint stains and five small words of ink writing, front also has a vertical crease beside spine and a small chip at top of left corner with paper in place. Back cover white area has some age darkening and cover has some light stains in places, both covers and spine have minor edge wear. Page edges quite sunned. Title page and ffep have a few clear round stains. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, flat. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. Some pages have a short 1/4 inch or less tear in side edge. Pages 271 and 273 are loose but have been tucked quite well into place. Penguin 1000. Price 2/6. Lots of Black/white photos, maps, diagrams.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
