This well documented book is drawn from remembrances of those who lived through the Depression in Amarillo as well as local newspaper accounts of unfolding events. It is less a political history than a history of the people of Amarillo and their experiences in the Great Depression in a city that was part of the Dust Bowl. No previous owner marks.
